Very Promising site has loads of stuff probably the only site you will need for a long time i suggest you take advantage of this opportunity there is an invite promotion system that gives you gigs for each person you invite so get on to it powerscene its fast its scene.

powerscene is almost dead dead dead.. it was run by a con-artist called Mikisiw.. so my advice is to stay as far away as possible..

Site was coming along OK, then some weird crap happened, some good people left. Some of the Mods & IRC OPs seem cool, but some are not. The IRCD owner/op (TeKKy) is an ego tripping jerkoff. Looks like their heading the way of other torrent sites with a stinking, \"don\'t give a fuck what you think\" attitude & bans for airing your views on things. Stay clear! :)

What used to be a good tracker has been totally ruined by Mikisiw and his lieing. He banned all the good staff members that actually knew how to run a site. The site only has 400 torrents. He claims that it is because the server DC had a fire, but no it is because one of the owners wiped the site when Mikisiw banned him. Mikisiw is a con artist and is only trying to milk the users for vip money. Dont join this site they sell your data.

Ive been a member of powerscene.org from the start. Im also a friend of mikisiw. The problems on the site are because of Odin. As i understand it, he is the con artist. Powerscene will return to its former glory once everything is straightened out. Give it a chance again. Forget all the bs you may have heard and enjoy the site for what it is and can be. A great torrent site and a great community.

The site has undergone many changes of late. The people there are there for one reason. The users. An unfortunate string of events has caused a few shake ups in the staff and it has been regretable in some instances. Given a bit of time, the site will be better than ever. There is a strong group of staff emerging now, and the focus is returning to what it always has been....The users. No premadonas with attitudes are allowed. That is the staff rule. All anyone can ask is for the users to have a bit of patience and give the site a chance, THEN decide for themselves. THAT is the only valid way to judge a site. Not other peoples bellyaches.

Oh please Mikisiw is just as much of a con artist as odin if not more. I find it funny how Mikisiw forced all of the other owners out, and alienated or banned all the former staff. He tells everyone the server problems are because of a fire which is a lie. odin wiped the server after Mikisiw banned him from the site. They used web spider programs to get email addresses off of sites to spam to get members, and they probably sell your email address. After mikisiw took control of the site my spam more than doubled. Coincidence? I say not. A friend, maybe the database problems are because of odin, but that is it the rest of the problems are mikisiws inneptness. It was a great site, it was a great community. Now it is a shadow of it\'s former self. The mods are rude, the irc ops kick people from the room without any warning if they say something that is the least bit derogatory about the site or if you make a joke the dont like, but it is totally ok for them to make jokes about you. Just dont retaliate of you get kicked. A friend of mine downloadeda file with a virus and deleted it and they banned him for not seeding it back. The moderator said oh we dont have files like that here. If you want a good site this isnt it.

This is all true. My information was given out to numerous people, and i felt it to be unsafe at powerscene. I had been with them for months but they tried to run the place without telling staff anything and now its backfired. Their user/torrent numbers are slipping, much like respect for anyone still there get out while u can

Well, after reading these comments above.. I signed up to powerscene.. and joined their irc channel as well.. A detailed picture of my experience: Downloaded a small tv show (they have very few torrents) I used my home line (100/100 swedish isp) uploaded about 1gb on the file.. no upload stats counted.. I figure well maybe it\'s just a bug and will update when the tracker updates.. Well 3 days later.. nothing.. So I join IRC, to see if what some have said about their mods to be accurate or mere hearsay, I was surprised to see several users kicked from the channel almost immediately upon my entrance, One of the irc operators kicked a user for fun then when other users said that wasn\'t very nice he/she kicked them as well. So I stayed out of it, Joined the help channel, I stated my username and problem, I was told it wasn\'t important enough for a mod to be alerted, and I asked if I could at least be credited with the bandwidth I supplied to my ratio and I was told No.. so I said I understand; no problem. then I asked if I could idle in help til a mod shows up, at this point I was threatnened with a gline for not \"gettin the fact that no ones gonna help your ass so deal with it\" So I left the irc, said nothing.. I go to the site I\'m disabled, I try to log on irc Permanent Zline, I leave myself to ask.. Why are people members of this site? Regards Stormh

Sums it all up really, as I and others have said b4. The site isn\'t what it was set out to be by the good people who have left/been banned. The mods are jerks, the IRCD owner/op is a fuckin loser. Basically, just stay away. There are WAY better sites out there so your not missing out. Even now they only have barely 600 torrents. Nothing much any good and pre times are laughable! lol

Oh and comments by tom cat about the staff only being their for the users and a strong group of staff emerging?? Don\'t make me laugh! That is both hilarious & ridiculous all at the same time! lol AVOID THIS SITE AT ALL COSTS! lol
