Hundreds of new torrent trackers have been added to torrentking.orgs tracker list, and also 99% of all invite begging comments have been deleted, and that was over 800, hopefully the comment sections is more appealing to post relevant comments about the tracker, than before.

Yet again a new rating/review system has been implemented on torrenking.org, since the old one was not so reliable as i had hoped.

In order to rate/review now, you need to signup to the forum and apply in the reviewers wanted thread.

All the old ratings/reviews has been deleted.

This is to make sure that in the future a more fair and accurate rating of the sites is displayed.

There has been a new section added to torrentking.org, its called Guides & Tutorials, and it will grow into a big list of guides and tutorials related in anyway to bittorrent, so check it out.

Also if you have written a tutorial/guide/how-to that you think is remotely related to bittorrent in anyway, and you wish to share it, send it in an email to mail [-@-] torrentking.org.

Tracker submissions since the new design has not been recorded in the database, error in the code have ment that everything submitted since new design is not in the database.

So if you have submitted anything since new design, please resubmit it, so it can be displayed on the site.

new design weeeee took some time, but now its up.

Today, somehow some one or a bot of sometimes, successfully inserted an invisible iframe in the mysql db, meaning that everybody visiting this site was potentially infected with a trojan.

This also means that google flagged torrentking.org as a possible source for trojan/virus stuff, and i am currently waiting for the flag to be removed again.

I have removed the evil stuff from the code, and i have taken more procussions, to prevent this for happening in the future again.

But everybody that has visited the site since today or yesterday evening, should scan for potential trojan, if you dont have an updated virus scanner etc, my virus scanner picked it up right a way, its the AVG free version, free to download and use.

If you do not have any anti virus i advise you to download the AVG free from this websiteAVG Free edition, free to use and easy to install.

In the near future, a new design for torrentking will be uploaded, including some fixing of misc stuff on the site, and perhaps adding a bunch of new stuff.

also at the same time or perhaps before new sites will be listed here on torrentking, im afraid i havent had time to go through all the submissions since there was something like 2500 entries including tons of spam. ). about 200 of them is real, so after i get them sorted i should expect about 75-125 new trackers listed here.

I have had 1 month delay or more in adding new trackers to the site, in the next few days i will go through my submitions database and add all the new trackers.
So just keep submitting sites, they will get added. and btw dont submit SUB DOMAIN TRACKERS, they are un-serious and often close very rapidly, they will not be added.

Lately there haven't been many news, but frankly there isn't much to write about, the tracker list is updated daily, and almost 800 trackers listed now, hopefully more people will submit more sites to my list, so it can grow, and be beneficial to other visitors.

Currently there is also being played around with different ad types, to figure out if its worth the time to have any of them listed here, like the Firefox+google tool bar button and the adultfriendfinder at the bottom of the page
Hopefully people will visit those 2 and perhaps signup or download the firefox webbrowser, which is in fact the best browser on the net, and also what this site is optimized for.

Remember that if you have any corrections to any of the details on the trackers just send an email to mail [@] torrentking.org and i will correct it as fast as possible.

Over 700 working trackers listed on torrentking now, its pretty incredible, i have spent a lot of time, keeping this site updated, with only about 50 of the trackers submitted by users and webmasters.

Hopefully in the future users would be willing to help me keep up-to-date with information regarding all the trackers listed here, ie.. when they close, or changing irc channel etc, if you want to help out, just post the new information in the comments field for that specific tracker(i read all comments so i will update as fast as posible).

Also if its a new tracker that is not listed here, just use the submit url page, even though your not the owner of the tracker.

New webdesign launched!

I have also worked out a bunch of bugs and improved some other features on the new design.

Cleaned out a bunch of dead trackers and dead rss feeds.
Also Made some minor changes to the tracker list, so that grey RSS images means they torrent tracker offers rss feed to members only, and the classic orange is open rss feed, which you can still read on this site, by following the link more info.

Added 30-40+ new polish trackers to my list, and also added paging for the main tracker list, since you would sometimes list 350-530 links on 1 long page, and that didnt work out well.

So enjoy the new edition, and hf torrenting.

I have been working on updating the tracker list, and finally hit 500+ active trackers. and 600 trackers has been through my system now.

And if you find any broken links or trackers you know is down, please write it in the comment field for the specific tracker, that also applies if you figure out it is categorizes incorrectly or the language is wrong.
